Sting-ray crochet pattern

~ Sting-ray pattern ~ 

Notes:
This pattern is in us terminology
Any stitches in brackets are together in one stitch eg (2Sc, Dc) whereas if outside the bracket it is presumably (unless noted otherwise) each in its own stitch eg 2 Sc ( one sc goes in the first stitch, then the other in the next stitch.

Stitches ;
Sc - single crochet            Hdc - half double crochet     Tr - triple crochet 
Dc - double crochet         Slst - slip stitch                     Dtr - double triple crochet (over 3, pull up, thru 2)


Needed equipment:
- 2 yarn colours 
- scissors
- stitch markers if preferred
- Embroidery needle
- 2.5mm hook
- stuffing
- Safety eyes

Method 
Using your first colour (beige, white etc):
Make a Mr and chain 1 

(Bottom part) 
R1: 8Sc in MR, Slst and ch1     (8)
R2: 8inc, Slst and ch1              (16)
R3: 8(sc, inc), sist ch1
R4: 6(3sc, inc), Slst, ch1 
R5: (9sc, inc)*3 [33], sist ch1
R6: in FLO
 (front loop only):
- (2Dc in 1st), Tr, (Dc, Slst), 2Sc, (2Hdc in 1st), (2Dc, Tr), (Tr, Dtr), (2Dtr in 1st), 2Dtr, (2Dc in 1st), Hdc, (Hdc, Dc), (Dc, Tr), (Dtr), Dtr, (Tr, Dc), (Dc, Hdc), Hdc, (2Hdc),2Dtr, (2Dtr), (Dtr, Tr), (Tr, 2Dc), (2Hdc), 2Sc, (Slst, Dc), Tr, (2Dc), Slst.
Tail: Ch10, Skip 1st, 4Slst, 5Sc ,Slst Leave a long tail

Assembly
Insert eyes on first panel
Using the 1st colour, sew the first inside circles together stuff before fully closing.
Using the 2nd colour, go around the edge sewing it in line.
